The storied Island of Enoshima, with its quaint shop town and ancient woodland shrines, lies at the mouth of the Katase River in Kanagawa Prefecture. Reacheable by bus or train along the shores of Sagami Bay, the island has been a popular destination throughtout Japan’s history.
